How was Cool Mountain Gourmet Beverages started?
Cool Mountain was started By John and Bill Daker in the fall of 1996. Never really an intential thing. It came together and the next thing you know we were bottling and on the selling it in the spring of 1997. John has since left the company and Bill runs the day to day operations today.

How did you come to choose your logo?
We had already choosen the name and wanted something that eminated our heritage and core values of a responsible brand. Cheif Hollow horn exemplifies that and there fore we are proud to place his image on every bottle.
How did you get your name?
We originally came up with Stone Mountain but this name had already been taken by the coffee company. We held up in our local library finally settling on two names 1. Cold Mountain and Cool Mountain- Cold mountain was actually trademarked by a german beer company(Carltonburg) in it's translation. Hense Cool Mountain was the name.

Why does Cool Mountain use only Glass bottles?
Glass bottles are part of the nostalgic image that Cool Mountain portrays. Glass preserves the taste, carbonation and keeps the beverage colder longer. Communicating quality and nostalgia in the cool long neck glass bottles.
What is the Cool Mountain appeal?
Nostalgic. The whole gourmet soda industry has prospered on phantom memory. The memories we had as children drinking flavored sodas out of glass bottles zaps us back to when we where a child again, and in the case of younger people it makes them feel so much older being able to drink out of glass bottles.
What flavors have you made that are not available today?
Retired Flavors. Fruit Punch- never has worked historically for most beverage companies. Red Raspberry-When you have a blue raspberry why? Pineapple-Never really sold that well however we have some really die hard fans who love it we may bring it out of retirement some day?
Does Cool Mountain have a Cola?
No Colas. That's our claim to fame so to speak although Cool Mountain Cola has a nice ring to it.We would no longer be Inventive unique and oh Yea The Cool side of Soda we would be the cool side of the big colas?
